“Learning from nature; reshaping resilience through technology”
For the 2025 EXPO OSAKA, we created “A Tree Meets the Moon,” a multisensory immersive installation inspired by Taiwan’s giant red cypress and indigenous Rukai legends. The core challenge was: How do we transform rigid, high-tech industrial hardware into an emotionally resonant narrative that touches a global audience? Through the meticulous depiction of nearly 50 native species, we projected the undying vitality of this land onto the world stage. Collaborating with ITRI and Okome Studio, we utilized biomimetic programming to control 560 robotic arms equipped with LED screens, successfully translating cold mechanical hardware into organic movements like fluttering butterflies and swaying grasslands.
